Long Week but Great Things Happening!

So crazy long week!

Hey Everyone!!  My new address is

515 E Alameda #2
Norman Ok.
73701

We had interviews, they were good.

STLs suprised us with an exchange. Dang. Kinda ruined all our plans. But it was a good time! I dont mind exchanges its good to work with other people and see how they do things!

We met with our INV.*****, she is getting baptized Feb. 14th! She is the sweetest lady who is so sassy and so funny! She came to church and LOVED it and is going to bring all her friends!

I learned how to make GUMBO! I have 100 new recipes to make for yalls when I gets home! Im pretty dang excited. Gumbo is my new favorite food I think.
Also I can make a dang good peach cobbler now. and lots of other foods..

Sunday we did a church exchange! a less active came back to church, and after church we went to her new church. Victory. That was an experience! church exchanges are pretty cool, were trying to go on as many as we can haha!

but anyways!

This week I really was hit hard that I am a missionary. I do things that normal people dont do. I am literally a light to some people and can help people.its kinda a big responsibility. Nothing is like mission work. and so many people rely on you to do so many things and to uplift them. Its hard to be happy smiley all the time and pretend you're not exhausted. its emotionally, physically, and mentally exhausting. you get no sleep, you study all morning/Night, try to learn a new language, find ways to help people who see no hope and have to be happy all the time and willing to take the crap that people try to shove in you face. all away from your family and friends, your phone and NETFLIX!

Who would want that life? I do. Because When I saw ella at church for the first time, and sis. Shelly at church for the first time in 18 years nothing has made me happier knowing they feel so blessed. That they are seeking out the eternal happiness that they deserve! That I get to be a part of someone finding hope that they can be happy for eternity!

I love this work. I am so tired and have a long way to go! But HOLY CRUDS its going fast and I love it!

Reading Assignment: "in The Strength Of The Lord"- Bednar

christmas was good, everyone parties the 24th so thats the day we really had fun, 25 we skyped, ate more food, and fell asleep at hna. Z's house.

saturday was our milagro day! we have been working so hard trying to find people, getting members out with us and doing our best, but have had nothing to show.

Saturday we got 3 new inv. (rosa, maria, Isabella) 5 return apointments with other potencials, vivisted 2 less actives who promised to come to church. and it was just a great great day!

what a milagro! we had exchanges friday-saturday and I think I really learned a lot that I needed to change and fix and become better with, and the result was our saturday! so I am very happy!

Gram Gram stalker: I think you cant find a house because you two need to serve a mission. just sayin... LOVE YOU!

Funny Story: walked around for about 30 minutes with my skirt tucked in the back of my tights. all of norman got to see my nice booty. but no family, no new investigadores came from those 20 minutes luckily! From now on I will always walk in front of my comp.

but thats all! forgot my camera agin so no pictures... sorry mom! next time!

Transfered and the New Year!!

heeyyyyyy Family

so yes transfering this week! I have served here in the Norman 3 branch for about 4 months, and now I am off to... (drum roll pleaseeeee) Norman 4th Ward!
so yes I am moving about 1 mile away. and going english. I am super sad to leave my little spanish branch. But I feel I have left them with what I could give. and I will still see them all every sunday so that will be odd...
My new Comp. is sis. Tutasi, and since im in the same zone still, we already know each other, she is great we will do really good together I think!

Reading assignment: 2 nefi 10:24-25, 11:6-7

Spiritual: This week I really studied a lot about how much potential we really have as hijos de Dios. Our whole purpose is to grow, become better and eventually live with the father of our spirits in eternal happiness. How great is our calling! so make your new years goals and exceed the potential you thought you had because I PROMISE you have more.

One of My goals for the year: read el libro de mormon (en espanol) 2x

Funny: Im staying in norman! just 1 mile away!

New years: Hna pine had tranners meeting, So we went to Moore for that, and I got to hang out with my CCM comp hna. Gubler all afternoon! that was super fun! we just did our studies and ate lunch it was good. I miss that lady. then  hna. pine went to stillwater with our STL because they had a baptism, So I spent it in English land with sis. Stokes. it was good a member bought us shakes and pizza and we spent it make a puzzle.

Well thats kinda all for now!

Les quero mucho!

new area! Norman English Speaking week 1

Hello every body! (thats how you say it in english right?)

So going English is not as tragic as I had thought. Still sad, but I love this new ward! and I love that I can really communicate with them! Plus I still get to see the rama cada domingo and speak with all my friends there!
So best of both worlds just like Hannah Montana!

Last tuesday was just a big day to say good bye to inv. and members, so thats about all we did.
Wed. they didnt even let us go to transfers to see people cause I was moving a mile away, I was bummed but thats okay. We just dropped all my stuff at the new apartment at 7am, and there I was! (unlike how it usually is and you would be with your new comp at around 2ish?)

SIS Tutasi! she is my new companion and my missionary soul mate. I dont think we have had a single moment with out yelling at each other and laughing! We are going to work so serious miracles this transfer! It will be a good one! Unfortunately she goes home April 1st. I asked her if that was a joke and she said no. Dang. So i will probably be the one to send her home! But I love her! She is samoan and we have already had a good good time!

The miracles we have already seen this week have been crazy! The Lord has prepared this area and we are about to do some serious hard work!

Sis. *****. she is a less active for about 15 years, she and her son are the only members and she was remared about 20 years ago to a catholic man. We got in with her my second night here, and she cried to us saying she has started reading the BOM and how badly she wants to go back, but she wants her kids support. Sunday morning we got a text from her saying “Ladies I bought tights last night so no one would be scared of my scary white legs! see you at church!"

She came ad she loved it and she wants to be active again! so crazy!

Also a family McR. who actually we tried working with in the Spanish branch (the family is hispanic) we got in with them, and the 3 of them came to church also!

Just a blessed sunday! This is where I am supposed to be and I know that with out a doubt!

Its been a good week, and a crazy transfer week so I will write a better organized email some ther time.

Les quero mucho!
